The Tower is a building struck by lightning. Two figures fall. It looks like disaster and it is, but only of the wrong house. The card is the moment a structure that was never honest collapses, fast, in one motion. There is no soft way to do it.
Upright
Upright, the Tower is sudden revelation. The lie that finally cannot be held. The relationship that broke in one phone call. The job that ended in one meeting. The card is brutal because it has to be. The relief comes later.
Reversed
Reversed, the Tower is the collapse you can feel coming and are trying to delay. The card is asking whether the delay is buying you anything you actually want, or just buying you time you will not use.
When it shows up
The Tower lands at endings nobody could have negotiated. After it, you will be lighter than you have been in years, even if today you cannot tell.
