The Knight of Wands is the twelfth card of Wands, the suit of fire. In the classic scene, the knight charges forward on a powerful horse, wand raised high, ready for adventure. This card is pure motion, driven by desire and the thrill of what's ahead.
Upright
When the Knight of Wands lands upright, something in your life is asking you to take bold action. Whether it's a new project, a trip, or a daring conversation, the card says go. There's energy and excitement in the air, but remember: a charging horse needs a direction.
Reversed
Reversed, the Knight of Wands warns of rushing without a plan. Impulsive decisions that feel like freedom in the moment but leave you lost later. It's like setting out on a road trip with no map and wondering why you're out of gas.
When it shows up
The Knight of Wands often arrives when you're itching to break out of a routine. It's the restlessness before a leap, the spark before the flame. Just aim before you leap.
