The Ace of Wands is the first card of the suit of fire. A single wand bursts out, held by a mysterious hand, still vibrating with a fresh idea. This card is the match struck in a dark room. It is the first thrill of what comes next.
Upright
Upright, the Ace of Wands offers you a burst of inspiration that demands action. A project that excites you so much, you cannot sit still. The card is that moment at 2 AM when you grab your notebook because you need to get it down. Do not let the moment flicker out.
Reversed
Reversed, the Ace of Wands shows the frustration of having a spark but not the fuel. The brilliant idea that fizzles under too much planning or second-guessing. The card is the unopened sketchbook, the guitar left to gather dust.
When it shows up
The Ace of Wands often appears when an opportunity is knocking loudly. When you feel that buzz in your fingers, waiting to be channeled into something real.
