The Five of Pentacles, the fifth card in the suit of earth, paints a scene of two figures in the snow, passing by a lit window. They are struggling, but the light is right there. This card is about feeling left out and, yet, missing what is right in front of you.
Upright
Upright, the Five of Pentacles shows up when you're feeling on the outside of something important. The job that isn't paying enough. The friend who isn't calling back. The card is a reminder that the help you need is closer than you think. Look up.
Reversed
Reversed, the Five of Pentacles is the thaw. The email that changes things. The friend who appears when you didn't expect them to. The card is the first step toward warmth.
When it shows up
This card appears when you're feeling isolated or unsupported, especially when money is tight or a relationship feels distant.
